here in singapore, ironically, tipping is not practiced at all. one time at a hair salon, i wanted to tip so i asked the cashier if she could hand it over to the stylist but i think she thought i wanted to break my money… funny. only means its not common for them to tip.
American Express has now made itself into a bank just so that it can get some of the “bailout” money. At the same time, 7000 of its employees have been let go, and they are expanding call centers outside of the U.S.. Waiters of the World Unite! I am asking servers to encourage other credit cards as a protest.
